Due to high demand, powder-form fragments ranging from 10–100 µm are now available
Microplastic powder (fragments 10-100 µm)
For experiments requiring a large number of fine microplastics or when ethanol (95 vol.%) is incompatible with your sample, dry microplastic powder is the go-to option. However, as we experienced ourselves, isolating these small particles in sufficiently large volumes can be a challenge.
After much effort, we’ve finally ‘cracked the code’ for a wide range of our available polymer types, now offered in dry, neat format in 0.5 g and 1.0 g options.

One of Microplastic Solution's primary objectives is to democratize microplastics research, and that's why we're lowring the price of fragments (100-500 µm) in powder format.

Fragments from 10-100 µm in powder format are increasingly complicated to manufacture and more difficult to segment and quantify, and are therefore more expensive:

What's next? We love pushing boundaries and moving forward! Now that we've achieved this important milestone, we’re setting our sights on developing 1–10 µm fragments. However, these will only be available in a (95 vol.%) solution with EasyMP™ and while we're not yet sure when they’ll be market-ready, we’re aiming for spring/summer 2025.
